Author Highlight: Thought Provoking C.S. Lewis Quotes

Hey, SBA fam!  I'm so glad that you're here. I thought that for today's blog, I'd bring you some thought-provoking and inspiring quotes by the great C.S. Lewis, one of my personal favorite authors. If you're not familiar with C.S. Lewis, let me help acquaint you with him!

A little bit about the author:

The late C.S. Lewis (born Clive Staples Lewis on November 29, 1898) was a world-renowned British writer and scholar whose writings continue to captivate and inspire readers worldwide, decades and decades later. You may have heard of or read his fiction series, "The Chronicles of Narnia," which he became world-famous for. It may be technically classified as a children's literature series, but both children and adults alike find themselves intrigued by the fantasy world Lewis creates for his reader... not to mention the touching biblical parallels that are interwoven throughout.

Beyond Narnia, Lewis delved into various genres but is most well known for his theological-natured books, which is where we will draw many of our quotes from today. His writings showcase his impressive intellect, philosophical views, and deep Christian faith. It is said well that "Lewis's ability to combine imaginative storytelling with profound moral and spiritual themes earned him a place among the most influential authors of the 20th century." He has certainly made his place among the most influential authors of my life!

His works continue to inspire and challenge readers with their thought-provoking ideas and timeless wisdom and I hope you are inspired and challenged reading these quotes today. Maybe they will even inspire you to pick up a book from his collection!
