Glow Balm Vs. Baby & Mom Balm

I know how incredibly uncomfortable and painful dry, flaky, and irritated sensitive skin can be in the cold weather. Every year, I make adjustments to my skincare routine to manage it. As someone who struggles with chronic dryness, flakiness, and itchy facial skin, I can personally testify that the two products below have been my saving grace during the winter months!

1. Baby & Mom Balm

This multi-purpose balm is NOT just for babies, though it is perfect for their delicate skin! It’s loaded with soothing herbs and ingredients that can help both babies and adults with dryness, flakiness, minor cuts, burns, and even (baby or adult) acne or eczema. The calendula in this balm promotes collagen production and tissue repair, making it great for scars and stretch marks. It's packed with all-natural herbal anti-inflammatory properties to help deeply soothe irritation. This is my first defense against skin irritation of any kind!

Who is it for?
If you’re looking for something to tackle dry, itchy, flaky patches or sensitive skin, this balm is perfect. It’s ideal for both adults and babies who need relief from dryness and any kind of skin irritation, and it's especially great for moms who deal with dryness from breastfeeding or pumping.

How to Use It:

  • Apply to dry patches, minor cuts, rashes, and burns
  • Soothe baby rashes or eczema
  • Use on stretch marks or dry, cracked areas
  • As an all-over facial soothing salve

This super nourishing, pinkish balm is my go-to for locking in moisture and acting as a barrier against dry, cold weather. It helps retain and improve your skin's firmness, tone, and elasticity, making it perfect for anyone needing an extra nutrient-rich layer during winter. Personally, this balm has completely transformed my skincare routine. I layer this on my face both AM and PM for added protection against the cold. It's formulated with ingredients like Borage Seed Oil for cell regeneration and Pomegranate Seed Oil for hydration and aging gracefully benefits.

Who is it for?
Whether you have acne-prone, oily, aging, or dry skin, Sweet Dreams Glow Balm is made for you. It’s low on the comedogenic scale, meaning it won’t clog pores, and it’s packed with potent, organic oils to help keep your skin glowing even during the harshest weather.

How to Use It:

  • Last step of your nighttime or daytime skincare routine to lock in moisture
  • As a cleansing balm
  • Use it on hands, cuticles, lips, and even under the eyes to lock in that Blue Tansy HA Moisturizer!

The Main Differences Between The Two:
  • Sweet Dreams Glow Balm is your go-to for helping with moisture retention and improving elasticity and tone. It's perfect for anyone who wants a barrier against cold, dry air while improving skin texture. Think of this as a nutrient-rich shield protecting your skin from the effects of harsh cold weather!
  • Baby & Mom Balm is more focused on soothing and healing irritated, sensitive skin. It's perfect for delicate skin in general and for addressing extreme dryness, eczema, or small cuts and burns. Think of this as a soothing salve that actively addresses skin irritations.

Both of these balms provide long-lasting hydration and protection, but depending on your needs, you can choose the one that’s right for you or layer them on top of each other.

I personally layer these on top of each other when my skin needs it... First the Baby & Mom Balm, then the Glow Balm on top of that! Sweet relief! I love knowing that the products I use on my face not only protect my skin, but also actively work to soothe it.

BONUS: Our Sweet Dreams Glow Balm comes in both lavender-scented and unscented options for extra-sensitive skin.
